Janani Foundation (We call it as J Foundation to outer world). J Foundation is a registered NGO on November 20, 2003 in the remembrances of little girl name Janani who was fond of studies with the ambition of becoming a doctor. But Nature has different plans for her. When she started her the longest Journey away from earth his brother who was inspired by his sister’s will power decided to give education to the unprivileged Kids.( That little warrior who happen to keep studying even in so much pain in her last few days in bed).Janani foundation is committed to reach out all the sections of society by assisting the members of the weaker sections of the society, free services of trained professionals to improve their mental as well as physical health.
J Foundation with 30 active voluntaries Work for funds for the education of under privileged children in and around Chennai. Out of Fund collected from Corporates and schools we sponsor kids for their education and for their basic amenities.
Providing free of cost dental treatment (Including Examination, Filing, Extraction and scaling) in schools for the under-privileged sections of the society.
J Foundation is currently doing free dental camps to schools with the help of Rotary of Pallavakam. Free eye camp to schools with the help of Rajan EYE Care. The NGO is more concern about the protection of Girl Kids and also are in talk with Schools to Conduct Free Martial Art Self Defense Session for school and College Girls(Also for Office Going Girls).
We came up with initiative of “Each Kid Teach one “. We Give Fund Collection sheets to Schools kids and request to them to collect minimum of 5 Rs from each of their relatives and neighbors. On an average a kid can collect Rs100 to Rs 200. Once the kids collect the funds he or she can give the funds to their Class Teacher.
The accumulated funds from each class of 50 students will be enough for educating one student for one whole year in.

Setting up a HELPLINE for counseling women on issues of abuse, providing emotional support, and free legal intervention.
